"👋 Hello! I’m Andreea, a connector by nature, a neuroscientist by training, and an ecosystem builder by choice."
For the past decade, my career has revolved around understanding people and systems, from decoding how the brain works during my PhD in Neuroscience, to helping global pharma clients refine their commercial strategies as a consultant, to now building the next generation of health innovators through academic entrepreneurship.
With a PhD and an MBA, I combine scientific depth with a strategic mindset to help research teams and early founders translate great ideas into real impact. Currently, I lead initiatives at the University of Zurich that connect startups, investors, and academia to strengthen Switzerland’s life science and medtech ecosystem.
I’m energetic, fast-paced, and rarely say no to a good idea, which might explain why I’m constantly found at startup events, panels, or mentoring sessions.
🕵️‍♀️ Fun fact: I once wanted to be a policewoman. Turns out I still love detective work, just now it’s about finding the right people, partners, and paths to make innovation happen.
I believe progress happens when diverse minds meet, and I’m here to make sure they do.
